These terms apply to purchases and participation in The Set, including a Full Set, individual chapter, workshop, rehearsal, recording session, performance, or related event. By completing a purchase, selecting the required agreement checkbox, or participating after receiving these terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read this agreement, and agree to be bound by it.

Registration and Payment

The Set is created and operated by DanceFlix Academy. Unless otherwise stated, participation is limited to adults age 18 or older. Registration is confirmed only after payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued.

A Full Set registration covers the chapters identified in the product description. An individual-chapter registration covers only the selected chapter and date. Each registration is for one participant.

You agree to pay the price and applicable fees displayed during checkout. Payments are processed by a third-party provider. DanceFlix Academy may correct a clear pricing, capacity, or technical error and will provide an appropriate correction or refund if an affected purchase cannot be honored.

Program Changes

Dates, times, instructors, songs, choreography, locations, filming plans, and other program details may change because of availability, illness, weather, venue requirements, enrollment, safety concerns, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will provide reasonable notice when practical.

A reasonable change to an instructor, song, choreography, room, or schedule does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Participant Responsibilities

Dance is a physical activity. You are responsible for deciding whether you are physically able to participate and for consulting a qualified healthcare professional if you have questions concerning an injury, pregnancy, medication, or medical condition.

You agree to participate within your abilities, wear appropriate clothing and footwear, follow instructor and venue directions, remain hydrated, and stop if you experience pain, dizziness, difficulty breathing, or another concerning symptom. You may not participate while impaired by alcohol, illegal drugs, or another substance that makes participation unsafe.

Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

DANCE AND RELATED ACTIVITIES INVOLVE RISKS, INCLUDING PHYSICAL EXERTION, REPETITIVE MOVEMENT, SLIPS, FALLS, COLLISIONS, STRAINS, SPRAINS, FRACTURES, ILLNESS, PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY, AND, IN RARE CASES, DISABILITY OR DEATH. YOU KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY ACCEPT THESE RISKS TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY GEORGIA LAW, YOU RELEASE AND DISCHARGE DANCEFLIX ACADEMY, THE SET, THEIR OWNERS, INSTRUCTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, VOLUNTEERS, AGENTS, EVENT PARTNERS, AND VENUE OWNERS AND OPERATORS FROM CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION, INCLUDING CLAIMS ARISING FROM ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, intentional harm, or liability that cannot legally be waived.

Conduct

Participants must treat instructors, staff, venues, and other participants respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, unsafe conduct, intentional disruption, property damage, and repeated failure to follow reasonable directions are prohibited.

DanceFlix Academy may deny entry or remove a participant when reasonably necessary for safety, conduct, capacity, or venue compliance. A participant removed for materially violating these requirements will not receive a refund.

Photography and Recording

Photography or recording may occur during a class or event. Permission to use your identifiable image, voice, likeness, or performance for promotional purposes will be controlled by the separate media-consent question presented during registration.

If you decline promotional consent, please notify the instructor during check-in and follow reasonable placement or recording instructions. Declining optional promotional consent will not prevent participation unless recording is an essential and clearly disclosed part of the program.

Participants may record only during designated recording periods or with instructor permission. You may not secretly record, livestream, or post identifiable footage of another participant who has asked not to be recorded.

Choreography and Class Materials

Choreography, lesson plans, recorded instruction, branding, graphics, and other original materials provided by DanceFlix Academy or The Set remain the property of their respective owners.

Unless written permission is provided, class recordings and materials are for personal, noncommercial use only. They may not be sold, licensed, commercially taught, reproduced, distributed, or used to create a competing service.

Refunds, Transfers and Missed Classes

Unless the product description states otherwise, registrations are non-refundable after purchase.

One transfer to another eligible adult or another available chapter within the same set may be requested by emailing setatl@danceflixacademy.com at least 48 hours before the scheduled class. Transfers are subject to availability and become valid only after written approval.

Late arrival, early departure, absence, or failure to attend does not qualify for a refund, credit, make-up class, or prorated adjustment. Missing a chapter included in a Full Set does not change the Full Set price.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If DanceFlix Academy cancels a chapter without offering a replacement date, an individual-chapter purchaser will receive a refund for that chapter. A Full Set purchaser will receive a proportionate refund for the canceled chapter.

Programs may be postponed, relocated, modified, or canceled because of weather, venue closure, unsafe conditions, instructor emergencies, government action, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. When practical, we will first attempt to provide a replacement date, location, or reasonable substitute.

Personal Property and Results

You are responsible for your personal property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DanceFlix Academy, The Set, instructors, staff, and venues are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

Individual results may vary. Registration does not guarantee a particular fitness, performance, creative, personal, or professional outcome. Unless expressly promised in the product description, registration also does not guarantee that you will appear in a final video or receive edited photographs or recordings.

Privacy

DanceFlix Academy handles personal information according to the DanceFlix Academy Privacy Policy. A separately accepted media-consent choice controls optional promotional use of your image, voice, likeness, or performance.

Governing Law and Electronic Acceptance

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Selecting an “I agree” checkbox or completing checkout after these terms are presented has the same effect as signing a paper agreement. The terms displayed at the time of purchase will apply to that purchase.
