A COMPLETE EXPERIENCE.

THE CONCEPT

THE SET is a limited dance series that blends Bollywood artistry with contemporary movement, music, and storytelling. We learn steps that develop into a larger story, with each class exploring a new chapter of the overall theme through its own song, choreography, style, and emotion.

Every class includes a warm-up, step-by-step choreography instruction, and time to perform and record what we create together. Participants can experience the complete series or join an individual chapter while building confidence, creating content, and connecting with a growing dance community.

MOVEMENT. EMOTION. COMMUNITY.

THE FIVE CARNAL SINS

NOW ON THE SET

Carnal Sins is a five-week, story-driven Bollywood Fusion experience that follows one woman’s transformation through Desire, Temptation, Obsession, Indulgence and Power.

Each Saturday becomes a new chapter with its own song, choreography, emotional quality and visual world. Together, the five classes create one complete story—from the first awakening of desire to the moment she learns to command everything that once controlled her.

Join us for the first class or experience the complete five-week transformation from beginning to end. No prior dance experience is required—just come ready to move, explore and step inside the story.

Five Weeks. Five Themes.

DESIRE - THE AWAKENING

A quiet longing awakens through magnetic movement and creates the first spark of attraction. Every glance, gesture, and Bollywood-inspired rhythm draws you closer to the version of yourself that wants more.

Join The Class
TEMPTATION - THE INVITATION

The choreography pulls you forward as playful expressions, teasing pauses, and seductive movement blur the line between restraint and surrender. Every beat becomes an invitation to step closer.

Join The Class
OBSESSION - THE FIXATION

Movement becomes sharper, faster, and impossible to escape as one thought begins to consume everything else. The intensity, and dramatic Bollywood expression capture the feeling of wanting something you cannot release.

Join The Class
INDULGENCE - THE SURRENDER

Rich movement, expressive hips, and unapologetic Bollywood energy take over as restraint disappears. This is the moment to surrender to the music, the pleasure, and the freedom of taking up space.

POWER - THE BECOMING

Strong lines, commanding expressions, and bold cinematic movement transform attention into authority. This is about owning the floor and choosing how your story ends.

MEET ANUSHA

Director. Choreographer. Storyteller.

Anusha Hussaini is the founder and CEO of DanceFlix Academy and the creator of The Set. She is a director, choreographer, and storyteller whose work combines South Asian and contemporary influences.

For more than a decade, Anusha has worked across dance education, film, and stage productions. Her experience includes choreographing and directing high-production music videos, short films, live performances, recitals, workshops, and competitive pieces. Since founding DanceFlix Academy in 2018, she has built an award-winning South Asian dance academy that develops dancers from childhood through adulthood while creating opportunities for performance, artistic growth, and cultural connection.

Anusha created The Set to give people a different kind of dance experience—one built around transformation, creativity, and community. Each limited series introduces a new concept and emotional world, inviting dancers to explore movement through music, character, and story.

TESTIMONIALS

“I have been with Anusha at DFA for more than a couple of years and even been on the recital. It’s amazing the way she teaches and is invested in making sure everyone is comfortable and Continuously learning and improving their dancing skills. She makes it to work for all age groups and all levels.”

-Kinjal

“Started off in private dance lessons with Anusha for my best friend’s wedding. She did an amazing job at choreography and was very attentive with each person in our group. We loved the private lessons so much we ended up joining adult classes and even did the recital. It was a journey of so much growth, and we have learnt so much while building life long friendships.”

-Ruhi

“I saw the dance lessons offered at the studio and figured why not try something new. Little did I know that I fell in love with the dances fusing Indian music and hip top elements, with the teachers who are so talented, and with all the ladies who forms a supper fun and supportive community.”
